The DEUTZ BF4M2012 is a 4-cylinder inline, 4.0L diesel engine with mechanical unit pump injection. No electronic control unit (ECU) or sensors, allowing direct drop-in replacement for pre-2005 machinery. Power range: 74–95 kW at 2100–2500 rpm. Torque: 390 N·m at 2500 rpm.This engine meets EU Stage I emission standards. Its fully mechanical design enables field repairs with basic tools—no diagnostic software required. Typical applications: older 3–5t forklifts, skid steer loaders, small harvesters, and 60kVA gensets.Important note: BF4M2012 differs from BF4M2012C in injection pump calibration and flywheel housing pattern.
