How to increase the service life of your supercharger

The service life of a supercharger can be increased by strictly following the maintenance requirements and cleaning the engine or oil sump before installing the supercharger as follows

Method 1: - Remove the bad supercharger - Add a certain amount of oil mixture (30% oil + 70% diesel) - Plug the supercharger into the oil return tube or seal the outlet of the oil inlet tube - Start the engine, idle speed for 1-2 minutes, drain the oil mixture (such as dirty oil Clean or replace the supercharger oil inlet pipe, clean the oil pan, remove the air filter - Install the new supercharger and pre-lubricate the oil inlet pipe with oil before installing the oil inlet pipe, install a new filter and fill the filter with oil, install other pipes - Start the engine, idle for 3 minutes to see if there is air leakage.

Method 2: - drain the diesel engine oil; - remove the oil pan and clean it, and then install it; - remove the oil inlet pipe of the supercharger, remove the oil scale and impurities inside the pipe, clean the inner wall, and then install it on the engine; - add new oil of the grade specified by the engine manufacturer; replace it with new oil of the grade specified by the engine manufacturer. Replace the oil filter with a new one that conforms to the engine manufacturer's regulations; - Without the supercharger first, connect the supercharger oil inlet pipe to the oil return pipe, start the engine and run it at idle for 3 minutes.

After completing the above steps (method one or method two), install the supercharger. With this, the life of the supercharger will be greatly improved!
