Causes of Deutz Engine Stoppage During Operatio

Sudden stoppage of Deutz engine during rotation is usually caused by failure of the oil supply system. However, from the Deutz engine failure phenomenon analysis, the fault is unlikely to be in the oil supply system, but may be the moving parts stuck or the crankshaft and the axial tile bite dead caused.

Failure phenomenon:Deutz engine in the process of running a sudden automatic shutdown.

Cause of Failure:Automatic shutdown when running out of fuel, usually showing a low speed shutdown. Fail-safe shutdown. Protection shutdown due to external fault signal input. For example, the more basic protection systems of common Deutz engines: overload, high water temperature, low oil pressure, overspeed, etc.

High water temperature shutdown:Temperature transmitterWhen the Deutz engine detects that the water temperature is higher than the set value, the Deutz engine will shut down immediately. When high water temperature occurs, the cause of the fault must be found before restarting the machine.

Low oil pressure shutdown:Oil pressure sensorWhen the Deutz engine detects that the oil pressure is lower than the set value, the Deutz engine will shut down immediately. After shutdown, recheck the oil level, find out the cause of the fault, and then restart the Deutz engine.

In addition to the above fault shutdown, there are a series of protection shutdowns such as over-voltage, low-voltage, over-frequency, low-frequency, high battery voltage, low battery voltage and so on. Check whether the alarm stops, low oil pressure, high water temperature, overspeed, etc. Check whether the overload, intake and exhaust pipes are free. Check whether the related parts are broken or loose, check whether the oil tank is out of oil. Check whether the injection pump is damaged. Check speed sensor, electronic speed control board, actuator, etc.
